Hello! I’m Verity.
A bit about me…
I started life in south London, studied Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts and then Newcastle University. After graduating, I found myself working in theatres, galleries, and museums across London, including the Royal Academy of Arts and Sadler’s Wells.
It was fun and fast-paced, but by 2020, I craved a change from city life. My partner and I converted a campervan and set off to explore Europe, spending the next four years on the road. Along the way, I re-trained as a graphic designer, we adopted a dog named Mila, and eventually found a new place to call home in rural Portugal, where we’re now renovating an old house.
I’ve been learning to embrace a slower way of living – gardening for the first time, experimenting in the kitchen, writing my own books and picking up my paintbrush again. After years of constant movement, I wondered if I’d feel restless staying in one place, but I love living so close to nature and noticing all its intricacies. Now I see the seasons change and appreciate the details that would have previously passed me by – it’s an endless source of inspiration.
I like to bring the same approach to my work, taking the time to understand your project and turning your ideas into a beautifully designed book that will catch your reader’s eye.
